November 21st, 7 pm, Bellingham, Washington at the Silver Reef Casino
Living in harmony with the Earth and restoring our resources to their natural balance was the path of Billy Frank, Jr. ever since he was a young child. A true visionary, Billy’s advocacy in policy development and implementation, forever changed fishing rights for Native people across the nation. To honor Billy, the Northwest Indian College Foundation is pleased to announce the Billy Frank, Jr. Natural Resources and Tribal Sovereignty Endowment Dinner on November 21st, at 7 pm, in Bellingham, Washington at the Silver Reef Casino. When Billy was with us, it was his desire to establish an endowment at Northwest Indian College to prepare future generations to protect Native people’s fishing rights and the environment. This endowment will benefit the Native Environmental Science program; and provide scholarships to students who exemplify Billy Frank, Jr.’s legacy. On behalf of the Northwest Indian College Foundation we would be honored if you would support this event and build the endowment left for the future. I invite you to explore our sponsorship opportunities. Not only are you helping to create a wonderful event but also expressing your support for native environmental stewardship in the future.
