NWIC & WWU Scholarship

NWIC & WWU Endowed Transfer Scholarship

This is a two-year  scholarship that assists NWIC graduates, or students who have 25 NWIC transferable credits, and have applied for admission to Western Washington University. Applicants must have filed for financial aid and/ or can demonstrate a lack of financial aid eligibility.

Scholarship awards of up to $4,000 per year for a maximum of $8,000  in all undergraduate years will be available to those accepted at Western. Fifth year  students are eligible for a scholarship of up to $4,000 for one year.

Priority will be given to Native American graduates of Northwest Indian College, who hold an Associates of Art and Science Degree, and who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 . At least one-third of the awards each year will be given based on finical need. However, all students who meet the minimum eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.
