This is a two-yearscholarship that assists NWIC graduates, or students who have 25 NWIC transferable credits, and have applied for admission to Western Washington University. Applicants must have filed for financial aid and/ or can demonstrate a lack of financial aid eligibility.
Scholarship awards of up to $4,000 per year for a maximum of $8,000in all undergraduate years will be available to those accepted at Western. Fifth year students are eligible for a scholarship of up to $4,000 for one year.
Priority will be given to Native American graduates of Northwest Indian College, who hold an Associates of Art and Science Degree, and who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 . At least one-third of the awards each year will be given based on finical need. However, all students who meet the minimum eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.
