The Generations Fund
Why Support the Generations Fund?
Due to government cutbacks, the existing federal funding for tribal colleges is not sufficient and continues to be reduced. Therefore, in line with the college’s mission of self-determination, the Generations Fund is an endowment that will fund in perpetuity; degree programs, student success programs, research projects, and emergency assistance such as the current impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Become part of a lasting legacy and join one of our giving circles—support the Generations Fund! Your gift will support the education of tomorrow’s leaders and ensure education opportunities for generations to come.
To support tribal nations and their communities, Northwest Indian College has grown in four critical areas:
- Fully accredited, placed based higher education programs and bachelor’s degrees
- State-of-the-art facilities, classrooms, science labs, student housing, library, and cultural center
- Technology for online courses and distance learning
- Tribally focused research to benefit the environment and community development
Now we must ensure that Northwest Indian College will become self-sufficient and continue to provide a high-quality education for generations to come.

Building People. Building Nations.
Your gift today can make the crucial difference. The main reason Native students do not complete their education is due to the financial hardships associated with getting their degree.
