Call for Grant Writing Bids
Northwest Indian College Foundation (NWICF), a non-profit, 50l(c)(3) entity, invites your business to submit a proposal for the following required services:
Fundraising Plan and Capacity Building (Consulting)
With the NWICF staff develop a practical plan for fundraising and strengthening donor trust that leverages gift opportunities with private foundations, businesses/corporations, and individuals to grow and diversify the funding base for the Foundation. The work will include:
- Strategies for continuing to position the Foundation to build trust with donors through financial, operational, and impact transparency;
- Strategies for reaching the set annual fundraising goals;
- Cultivation of a positive donor experience;
- Analysis of potential by constituency (private foundations, businesses/corporations, and individuals) and by strategy;
- Action plan and timetable for each strategy, with fundraising benchmarks;
- Preliminary identification of qualified prospect pool;
- Regular weekly meetings with NWICF staff, and as needed
Annual Diversified Fundraising Plan (Operationalizing)
Work with NWICF staff to implement the annual fundraising plan and strategies. The work will include:
- Collaboration with the Executive Director to implement the annual fundraising plan
to include corporate, foundation, tribal grants, individuals, and fundraising events;
- Research grant prospects and create a grants calendar
- Execution of all grant proposals (grant letter of inquiries, proposals, applications, and supplemental materials);
- Assist with grant reporting as needed;
- Create and execute a strategy for building the annual individual donor base through email appeal opportunities
- Support the ED with a long-term relationship-management approach to funders;
- Research funding trends;
- Monitor grant donor information in the CRM;
- Provide and present fundraising statistical analysis to the staff and board;
- Assist in monitoring and presenting fundraising statistical analysis on the development program to the staff and board;
- Regular weekly meetings with NWICF staff, and as needed;
- Assist in the transition to the new fundraising CRM (Donor Perfect and ReadySetAuction), including the development of operational processes, tracking, and reporting
The proposal should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward and
concise description of your company’s capabilities to satisfy the requirements of the
request for proposal. The timeframe for this project is 12 months at up to 32 hours per week. The rate of pay being considered will be $76-86 per hour.
